The DDM4V7P is a half pound lighter and that lesser weight would be a HUGE help given my elbow condition. Another user here suggested I consider the DDM4V7P model which looks to be basically the same as the MK18 but with an MLOK handguard. I have been looking at the Daniel Defense MK18 pistol version.
